Commercial solar pricing in Canada (2026)
Installed cost ranges by system size — before the 30% CT ITC, which significantly lowers effective cost.
Prices before incentives. All quotes include engineering, permits, installation and commissioning.
Federal tax credits stack in your favour
Commercial solar isn't just an energy decision — it's a tax-advantaged capital investment.
Clean Technology ITC — refundable
A 30% refundable federal tax credit on eligible solar PV, inverters and racking installed before Dec 31, 2033. A refundable credit directly reduces taxes owed — if it exceeds your liability, the difference is paid to you.
Accelerated CCA depreciation
Commercial solar qualifies for accelerated Capital Cost Allowance under Class 43.1 (30%) or 43.2 (50% declining balance). With the Accelerated Investment Incentive, you can write off a major share in Year 1 — stacking on top of the CT ITC.
