Frequently asked questions

How do I monitor my solar system's performance?
Your system includes a monitoring app for real-time production tracking. See our monitoring guides for your inverter brand — TIGO, SMA, SolarEdge or Growatt.
What should I do if my system stops producing?
Check the inverter for error codes, confirm the breaker and disconnect are on, look for visible damage, and rule out shading. If it persists, submit a support ticket below.
How often does my system need maintenance?
Minimal — we recommend an annual inspection and cleaning. Rain handles most cleaning; remove leaves and debris as needed. Maintenance plans cover check-ups and optimization.
What is covered under my warranty?
Manufacturer warranties cover the equipment: a 25-year panel warranty, 10–25 years on the inverter and 10 years on a Tesla Powerwall. Xolar's own workmanship warranty covers the installation for 1 year. See the warranty section above for details.
Can I add battery storage to my existing system?
Yes — most systems can be retrofitted with storage like a Tesla Powerwall. Contact us for a free assessment of the best battery solution for your setup.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Contact support with your system details and a description of the issue. We guide you through the process and coordinate with manufacturers — most claims process in 5–10 business days.
