0:07have a family of five and we've lived in this area for the last 21 years ultimately you want to do your part for

0:15cleaner energy sources and it pays off uh well in the end I'm still over time

0:22going to have to use some energy from Hydro company but not as much less than half the net metering is really

0:30interesting it's like having a free battery I mean uh when we have the solar panels on especially this time of year

0:38it's directly going into the uh electricity usage in the house and what's not being used goes back through net metering to the grid and you then

0:45you get uh those points later in the winter when you don't have as much sunlight you can use that energy um I

0:53would say their website was good for uh educational purposes and from what I read they they use high quality products

1:00cuz you want good panels very well organized quotes and with system diagrams that were easy to understand and so that and they get back to us

1:08quick with those and then on the installation process when we had to get in touch with them I found they got back to us within a day every single time the

1:17workers came and they installed it one day and it was done Xolar actually good advice that our shingles were nearing

1:24the end and that was Xolar that influenced me to do that and I'm glad I did it when it's sunny that we made more

1:31kilowatts than we used so I haven't really actually looked at the bill but I I would say even in the spring we're producing more energy on sunny days than

1:40we're using we I estimated that it's going to be save us about 60% of our bill year round I would say it's close

1:47to 100% there's an app that I can look at Daily and I can actually watch live the production and I would say that it's

1:56been excellent and it's actually fun it's almost a dick to to look at the app I feel good about doing my part for

2:03cleaner energy there's paperwork for those processes but it went well yeah we got the Grant and we're getting an

2:13interest free loan which is enticing if there was snow on it it was gone within an hour so I've not cleaned them I've

2:22not done anything to them yet I'd recommend solar panels for sure because it seems to they seem to work very well and I have a live app that proves it and

2:31it's almost fun watching it to produce electricity just directly from the Sun the longer you have them the better

2:39chance you are of saving more money I think that at 10 years I'll be further ahead at 20 years I'll be quite a bit

2:45ahead um in terms of savings and in terms of investment the whole process um

2:53is educated me and my family about energy conservation and hopefully we we have cleaner your energy as well from
